PPI Radio Awards Committee Chairperson Sean Murtagh said: “All 82 of this year’s judges, who put in time and dedication to evaluate entries, reported a significant increase in the quality with stations keen to win an Award. Just making the short list is a massive achievement in itself and whatever the final outcome, it’s something to be fiercely proud of.”
The BAI’s Chief Executive, sponsors of the PPI Radio Awards, Michael O’Keeffe said: “From an industry perspective, a PPI award is now recognised as one of the highest accolades that a radio station can receive in terms of its programme output and overall service quality. This is clearly recognised through the 25% increase in entries received in the current year. I wish all of the participating stations every success in at this year’s PPI Awards.”
The PPI’s will take place on Friday October 9th 2015 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Galway
