I know that’s what my fans expect from me, and I hope that they hear that in the songs on this album.”
"A Better Man," Black's first single, was released early in 1989 and it went to number one -- he was the first new male country artist to have a number one hit with his debut single

Jana Kramer To Release New Album
Jana Kramer will release her new album, ‘thirty one’, October 9th
"I want this title to be strong; I want this title to be me," says Kramer, who turned 31 last December. "I want this title to somehow portray the woman that I am. There's no other way of saying that than thirty one.
"In my mind, thirty one shows strength, confidence and grace. That's exactly who I feel like I am as a person and what I've been through in my life."
Kramer co-wrote six of the album's 11 songs, which include her current single I Got the Boy.

Hillary says, "We've just made so many albums in such a short period of time, and we're proud of them, and what we've done in our career, and what we've said with them - but we've never given ourselves the gift of time.
"Knowing us, it will probably be a lot shorter than what we probably set out for it to be, because we can't ever really stop. There's no timeline, and that feels so nice to know. When we feel like it's ready we'll go to work."
The hiatus comes at a perfect time for singer Charles Kelley, who recent announced he and his wife Cassie MCConnell Kelley, will welcome their first child in February after years of struggling with fertility issues.

Luke Bryan’s new album, Kill The Lights, released this week
The 13-track collection was produced by Jeff Stevens and his son Jody Stevens and contains 13 songs, six of which were co-written by Luke including the title track.
Luke hopes fans who pick up a copy of Kill the Lights will have all of their expectations fulfilled. “I want them to be going ‘Oh yeah, this is what we wanted, this is what we expect,’ Luke explains. “I think when you hear ‘Kick the Dust Up’ right off the bat, it sets a tone that I’m right here with what I am, but then when you start getting into ‘Kill the Lights’ and hear that new kind of sound of that song, and then even with some of the other tracks like ‘Fast’ and then even ‘To the Moon and Back,’ those go down that ‘Drink a Beer’ seriousness that I was able to do a little bit on Crash My Party. And now it worked on Crash My Party, and now I’m confident to do it certainly on this album and more albums to come.”
And for those of you who want even more Luke Bryan music, Target has an exclusive Kill the Lights package with three additional songs, all of which the Georgia native co-wrote.
Kill the Lights is the follow up to 2013′s Crash My Party, which has been Luke’s most successful album to date. The album includes six consecutive No. 1 singles, been certified double platinum after selling more than two million copies, along with eight million digital downloads overall.

After years of tabloid gossip claiming marital troubles, country music's top couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert announced their divorce after four years of marriage.
The news was confirmed in a statement by the couple to The Associated Press, issued by their representatives Monday.
"This is not the future we envisioned," the former couple said in the statement.
"And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter."
Shelton and Lambert, who wed in May of 2011, reportedly have a prenup, therefore, their financials have already been worked out. Sources tell TMZ that Shelton will keep their Oklahoma ranch and that she will get the family home in Nashville.

The singer made a point of shooting down the circulating whispers on his social media accounts on Tuesday afternoon (July 21). Young noted that he doesn’t normally address gossip involving himself, but he felt the need to do so this time.
“My name has been mentioned as a contributing factor in Blake and Miranda’s divorce. That is totally FALSE,” Young writes. “They are both my friends and I would not betray that friendship. Just wanted to clear that up.”
The rumor was first mentioned by TMZ, with the website’s sources alleging that Lambert was unfaithful to her husband because of Young.
